Chart toppers Union J will headline “Party in The Park” at Flamingo Land on Saturday April 4.
The concert is being staged to re-open the resort’s outdoor events arena Riverside One for the new season.
Flamingo Land wants to celebrate the beginning of their new season by offering local people the chance to visit during Party In The Park at special reduced ticket prices.
Half price tickets (£18.50 for that day) will be available through local newspapers for a full day of theme park, zoo and Party in the Park - £10 tickets will then be made available on the gates for after 5pm admission.
The theme park and zoo will be open until 6pm on the April 4 and the live entertainment will then commence in Riverside One and conclude with Union J finishing around 9.15pm.
Sarah Mills, marketing director for Flamingo Land, said: “The idea for Party in the Park is to invite local people to visit our resort and enjoy our outdoor stage and dining area Riverside One at an affordable price.
“On April 4, we have a line up of the Bongo Warriors acrobatic team along with Olly Murs, Little Mix and Lady Gaga tribute bands plus other singing acts. Union J will then take to the stage around 8.30pm for what we are sure will be a highly entertaining performance.”
Riverside One is one of Flamingo Land’s latest developments and cost £4 million to build. It opened last year and was launched with a Tinchy Stryder concert.
This area provides guests with the facility to dine in the piazza situated by the all-weather stage and back-lit waterfall feature.
