UPDATE: Three arrested after Pickering robbery

Three men have been arrested following a robbery in Pickering - but two suspects are still at large.

Police were called at around 7.50pm on the night of Tuesday October 20 to reports of a robbery on Manor Drive in Pickering.

The victim was threatened by five men who entered his caravan and stole valuables before leaving the scene in a van. The victim was not injured during the incident.

Police officers began searching the area around Pickering, Malton and the roads leading out of the area. Air support was provided by helicopter from the National Police Air Service.

Two men were arrested a short time later and have been taken into police custody.

Another man was arrested and taken into custody at around 11pm.

At the time of writing searches are being carried out to locate the remaining suspects.
