Video: NFU guidance on Nafferton bird flu situation
Measures to prevent the spread of bird flu are under way in East Yorkshire after the first serious case in the UK for six years was discovered at Nafferton near Driffield.
Farmers around the country have been warned to be on alert after at least one case of the virus was confirmed at a duck breeding farm in the village.
The problem was first noticed around a week ago when egg production began dropping and the number of birds dying increased.
