Village delight at prestigious gold In Bloom awards

This is a huge tribute to the whole village and a big boost to all those residents, businesses and Hunmanby in Bloom volunteers who have put in so much time and effort.

The weather this year has been particularly challenging for gardeners. It has taken a concerted village effort to make Hunmanby look so spectacular – efforts that have been rightly recognised by these awards.

Visitors constantly praise the floral displays at the pubs and village centre and many front gardens are are so beautiful they draw considerable envy from passers-by.

Next year Hunmanby in Bloom will be organising a Village Open Day with many private gardens open to the public.
