Officers investigating a serious injury road traffic collision on the B1249 near Langtoft in East Yorkshire are seeking witnesses.
The collision occurred shortly after 5.35pm on Wednesday June 29 and involved a blue Ford Ka and a blue Fiat Punto.
The 17-year-old male driver of the Punto was airlifted to Hull Royal Infirmary where he was treated for non life-threatening leg injuries.
The driver of the Ford Ka, a woman in her 70s, went to hospital with minor injuries.
A black Volvo hatchback with a cycle rack attached to the rear was on the stretch of road at the time of the collision and officers are keen to speak to the driver in case they witnessed the collision or saw either vehicle being driven along the B1249 prior to the impact.
The Volvo had driven towards the collision from the direction of Staxton Brow, just outside Scarborough, and was heading towards Driffield.
