Blight on beautiful North Bay

A WALK on our beautiful North Bay is spoiled by the blight of litter.

I am proud to call Scarborough my home, but anyone walking to and from the beach on the steps and paths that run to the bowling greens and Queens Parade must be shocked at the amount of litter, cans, plastic and glass bottles cover the grass banks that run down to Royal Albert Drive.

Walk along Queens Parade and look down from the footpath on to Clarence Gardens or the playground below Blenheim Terrace. These areas suffer the same problem.

It’s time a solution was found, we can all make a difference and Keep Britain Tidy.
