Counting the cost

RE: BUS weekly tickets, £9.50, or not a weekly ticket

Over the last two weeks my weekly ticket has only pasted for four days instead of the normal seven days, why, because since April 22 we have had two weekends with three public holidays in them.

People buy a weekly ticket to save money, but if you live in Burniston or Cloughton or any of the other local villages, you lose out even though it’s classed as the Scarborough zone, only when it suits East Yorkshire Motor Services and not Jo Public.

Surely it would not take much to put an extension on it, thus giving you value for money, even unsuspecting tourists coming on holiday would lose out buying weekly tickets.
