Hot air over pasty issue

NOT very far from me there is a row of shops, nothing much to look at, but there the difference ends.

One is a fish and chip shop, another Chinese takeaways another confectionery (including pasties) and the other general groceries including hot food. I wonder which one does not pay VAT.

This is alright for the customer, but is not fair on the other traders, the VAT increases on hot pasties only makes the playing field for all traders level.

Customers will decide if they want to continue buying the pasties once VAT is added.

The hype over this increase beggars belief, there are far more pressing issues to contend with without the pasty problem.

However, customers may get a better tasting pasty than before to keep their custom, but don’t bet on it.
