I guess that you will get many, and more colourful, responses to the letter published on February 13.
I have nothing whatsoever to do with hunting but, living in Hackness, saw the horses, hounds and hunts people meet in the village last Saturday, February 8.
I defy anyone to say that the hounds are ever ‘dangerously out of control’ - they are well-trained and impeccably behaved.
What absolute nonsense to suggest that they could kill, maim or seriously injure ‘children, OAPs, other pets .. ‘!
The hounds do not ‘run amok’ and what laws were broken?
So the reader saw a fox running away, which is extremely unlikely as they are not hunting foxes. Please don’t believe this nonsense.
