Scarborough YMCA theatre is a long established local charity (this is our 170th year) providing support for children, young people and adults in the Scarborough town and surrounding areas.
Over the years we have built up a specialist expertise in delivering performing arts for people in our community theatre as well as offering a varied and fab, fun schedule of youth work and activities.
As we receive no regular funding from government our volunteers and staff must raise all the funds required for our work to go ahead. One way we do this is by selling raffle tickets at our theatre productions. I am a volunteer and have been for six years here at Scarborough YMCA, I have kindly offered to help by asking you if you would like to donate some raffle prizes for our productions.
This year I am in the show putting on the musical Rock of Ages for the six weeks of summer from July 4 to September 3.
We would be extremely grateful for any help you are able and willing to give us, ladies and gentlemen. Any money raised from our raffles will go towards supporting Scarborough people, through the arts and the activities that go on at Scarborough YMCA.
Happiness as always and thank you for reading this letter.
