Locals’ skills will be needed

Re the proposed potash mine.

People from Whitby and Loftus area have had great financial gain from the mine at Boulby, it has enabled many families to stay in the area and have a much better standard of living.

This has been going on for over 40 years, and let’s hope for many more years to come. It may even give the workers at Boulby a rise in wages as the great skills they have gained are an asset to the area and themselves.

With a new mine planned for the area I am sure the

skills of many will be sought after.
