Nothing wrong with a bit of health competition

RE: Review into the Lottery.

It would appear Camelot cannot cope with healthy competition, eg the Health Lottery.

I seem to remember a time when British Telecom had the monopoly and there was no way you could afford to call relations in such places as Australia etc (correct me if I am wrong).

To Camelot, other operators are not rivals to the National Lottery, but as quoted above, healthy competition.

The Gambling Commission had and has every right to licence the Health Lottery. Not a failure on the gambling commission’s part, but a perfect right.
