as i came home last week past the cemetery, which had looked like a wilderness and rubbish dump, to my amazement the cemetery was being transformed by a group of landscape gardeners. They were working hard making safe the paths and edges. Overgrown bushes pruned and cleared away. Years of neglect and vandalism had made this quiet cemetery into a place of shame.
It is beginning to look like a park. The sun shines through. The gloom is not evident.
We can walk, sit and tend graves. It is a pleasure now.
Thank you for work done in this garden called a cemetery.
