A trio of holiday homes on the North Yorkshire coast have been put up for sale – for £3 million.

The three properties have been owned and managed by North Yorkshire Coast Holidays for the past decade, but the owners are now selling up as they look to retire.

“All our properties have been sympathetically renovated to suit a variety of groups, including family or friends, and we look forward to welcoming a new owner to take the business forward.”

Denmark House, Cross Hill, Hunmanby, an 18th Century, Grade II-listed property offering holiday accommodation for up to eight people is on the market for £500,000.

Specialist business property advisor Christie & Co, which is managing the sales, said: “It combines many of its original features such as beamed ceilings, cast-iron fireplaces, and a Victorian roll-top bath with contemporary features.”

The neighbouring Lucasland Holiday Complex, a collection of 18th-century barns which have been restored and renovated into three self-contained cottages and a private pub with accommodation for up to 18 guests, is on the market for £1.25 million.

Bourne End House, Primrose Valley Road, Primrose Valley, is a large, detached former ‘gentleman’s residence’ which sleeps six to 16 guests.

Christie & Co said: “It boasts many original features with beautiful parquet flooring, original stained-glass windows, high ceilings with original cornice work and spacious rooms.
