Police appeal after theft on King Street in Scarborough

North Yorkshire Police are appealing for witnesses following the theft of a Cat4 scanning device from where workmen had been working, on the road bordering Newborough.

The incident happened on King Street between 1.15pm and 2.30pm, and police are requesting the public’s assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.

In particular, they are appealing for anyone who has seen a person carrying this device in the surrounding areas within this time frame.
