Police focus their appeal in search for missing Scarborough woman Sarah West

Officers in North Yorkshire are focusing their appeal for the public's help in the search for a missing Scarborough woman.

Sarah West, 46, has been missing from her home on Stepney Road in Scarborough since Sunday morning, April 25.

Searches are continuing to locate the whereabouts of Ms West who was last seen at about 7am by family on Sunday morning. New information has shown Sarah was walking southbound on the A165 near Cayton Bay around 8am on April 25.

North Yorkshire Police are appealing for anyone driving on the A165 between 7.30am and 8am on Sunday April 25 who may have dashcam footage to get in touch by calling 101.

Sarah is believed to be wearing jeans and a blouse top. She has medium length dark blonde/brown hair, wears glasses and is of a very slim build.

Officers also have information to suggest Sarah may be walking the Cleveland Way coastal path and are asking anyone walking in areas near the path to be vigilant and report any sightings to the police immediately.
