Heavyweight hero Frank Bruno all set for knockout event in Whitby
British heavyweight boxing hero Frank Bruno is heading to Whitby later this year for a knockout sportsman’s evening.

Former WBC heavyweight world champion and British boxing legend Bruno will speak at the Metropole in Whitby on Friday October 22, with the event getting under way at 7.30pm.
The evening will be compered by comedian Jed Stone and there will also be a memorabilia auction and raffle on the night.
Tickets are priced at £35 and include a photograph with Bruno.

Bruno famously lifted the WBC heavyweight world title after a thrilling win over Oliver McColl at Wembley Stadium in 1995.
The Londoner is possibly best known for his two fights against Mike Tyson in 1989 and 1996, both of which the American won by knockout.
