Rhodes has so far overcome Frank Greaves and Paul O’Brien in his two pro bouts to date and will be looking to maintain his 100% record with a win over Krauklis.

The 30-year-old Latvian, who is based in Peterborough but hails from Jurmala, hasn’t fought since 2008.

However, he has been the distance with world title challenger Anthony Crolla and former British champion Gary Sykes.

Rhodes isn’t taking his opponent lightly.

He said: “He’ll be no mug, he’s not boxed for a while but I reckon he’ll have been fighting in Latvia.

“He’s been in with a couple of good names so I’m going in there looking to put in a good performance.”
