Aussie Dillon Bolton struck a superb 113no in Ebberston’s 60-run win against Hunmanby in the AndyHire Evening League division A.
Bolton put on 150 for the third wicket in an unbeaten stand with Matty Turnbull, who struck 57no as Ebberston posted a massive 196-2.
Ryan Baldry struck 57 to give the Sands Lane club a fighting chance but they fell well short on 136-5.
Staxton also had an easy win, easing to a 10-wicket triumph against Wykeham.
The three-pronged bowling attack of Elliot Cooper, 4-24, Rich Webster, 3-12, and youngster Linden Gray, 2-1, saw Wykeham stumble to 46 all out.
Rob Pinder’s unbeaten unbeaten 38 dominated Staxton’s successful run-chase.
Flixton had to work harder than their rivals in a five-wicket success against Scalby A.
Mortaza Zoman’s unbeaten 80 took Scalby to 117-6, despite a hat-trick from Richard Malthouse in his spell of 4-20 as Scalby posted 117-6.
Mick Walmsley’s 63 was the foundations of Flixton’s successful pursuit, despite top bowling from Conor Carson, who finished with 3-32.
Sean Exley was the all-round hero in Cloughton’s 15-run win against Filey.
Exley top-scored with 64, while Paul Virr chipped in with 35 in their 141-5.
Exley then snapped up 4-33 as the Clarence Drive club were dismissed for 126, despite fine knocks from Ben Briggs, 61, and Paul Bowes, 27.
Ganton wicketkeeper Mike Hirst had a great evening with the bat and the gloves in their five-wicket division B win against Brompton.
Hirst took four stumpings as Ganton dismissed Brompton for 111, Jordan Welford’s spin bowling claiming 5-28 and Ali Limb scooping 3-22. Sam Cooper, 33, and Tom Noble, 31, topped the Brompton batting scores.
Limb, 43, and Hirst, 31, then guided Ganton safely to victory for the loss of five wickets.
