Scarborough 3rds batsman Prince Bedi smashed a spectacular 170 as they claimed a 211-run home win against Thornton Dale 2nds in Division Four.

Bedi bludgeoned 16 sixes and seven fours before retiring not out as the hosts amassed 310 all out, Jack Ingle adding 41. Dale then slipped to 99 all out.

Leaders Flamborough coasted to a 10-wicket victory at home to Ravenscar 2nds.

Opener Jish Rewcroft carried his bat for 52no in the visitors’ 92-7, then Luke Dixon’s 67no helped Boro home with 14.3 overs to spare.

Goathland moved into second after a 147-run win at Cayton 3rds.

Opener James Buckley hit a superb 83, with solid knocks from Liam Calvert (53) and Tom Grainger (53no) as they posted 236-5.

Jake Seastron’s 46 was the only knock of note as Cayton slipped to 89 all out in reply, Carl Woodward taking 3-17.

Josh Garbutt’s 68 helped third-placed Bridlington 3rds to a seven-wicket home triumph against fourth-placed Forge Valley 2nds.

The top three of Jamie Toal (48), John Flinton (41) and Bekir Kaya (32) gave Valley a good start but they posted 149-7 as Brid bowlers Josh Richardson and Steve Lount roared back with 3-25 and 3-12 respectively.

Openers Lount (47) and Josh Garbutt then did most of the work as Brid sealed the win.

Sherburn 2nds’ promotion chances were dented by a 25-run loss at rivals Brompton 2nds.

Phil Holden’s sparkling 77no, allied to Steve Johnson’s 30 and 26 from Chris Suggitt steered Brompton to 205-8, Jordon Farrow taking 3-8.

Openers Conner Miles (64) and Ashley Oldroyd (38) gave Sherburn a solid start, but Tony Holme (3-35) and Gary Newton (3-19) then linked up to dismiss the visitors for 180.

Wykeham 3rds won by 90 runs at Malton & Old Malton 4ths.

The depleted visitors managed to post a decent 159-2 thanks to Pete Shepherdson’s strong knock of 86no, Malton never got going in reply, David Stockhill bagging 4-14 as the home side were skittled for 69 in 23.2 overs.

Scalby 3rds were handed a 22-point haul as Ganton 2nds conceded their match.

Joe Bayes’ stylish unbeaten 72 steered Division Three promotion-chasers Ravenscar to a four-wicket home win against Scarborough Rugby Club.

Rob Hazledine hit 39, Ryan Hamblett 33 and Brett Canham 29no as the visitors made 153-7.

Bayes then took a grip of the game, with valuable cameos from Adam Graham (23) and Robin Coulson (21) offering assistance as they bagged the win with five overs and four wickets to spare.

Leaders Great Habton 2nds stormed to a 95-run success at home to Filey 2nds.

Opener Charlie Coulson hit 40 for Habton, with Will Wright’s 36 not out helping the hosts post 144-9.

Nathan Robson took 3-23 and Dan Baldry 3-27 for Filey.

Opener Dave Pooley (19) was then the only batsman to reach double figures as Filey sank to 59 all out in 18.3 overs.

Ben Hurst was the star man for Habton, with an excellent spell of 6-17 from 4.3 overs, Vernon Smith taking 3-23.

Glaisdale are also in the promotion picture after their six-wicket win at home to Malton & Old Malton 3rds.

Graham Featherstone took 3-34 and Jack Allanson 3-28 as Malton were dismissed for 126 in 27.5 overs, Dan Metcalfe hitting 25 and Tom Pinder 24no.

Dan Marsay (36) and skipper Alex Burtt (35) paved the way for a Glaisdale win and Allanson completed the win with 27no.

Nawton Grange 2nds edged to a two-wicket win at home to nine-man Muston.

Sam Degazon bagged 3-18 as Muston posted 107-7, Tom Sanders hitting 38.

Sanders then snapped up 4-31 but Grange edged home with 108-8 from 20.5 overs.

Folkton & Flixton 3rds won by eight wickets at fellow strugglers Pickering 3rds on Sunday.

Stalwart Bri Leckenby struck 80 as the Pikes made 180-5, Tom Adams adding 32no and Jon Moxon 29.

Freddie Gunning also hit 80, Fin Ward 51 and Jack Stephenson 42noas flixton eased home.
