Date confirmed for Kumar Sangakkara's MCC match at Folkton & Flixton Cricket Club
Sri Lanka's legendary batsman Kumar Sangakkara will be in action in a match at Folkton & Flixton CC on Monday July 19 to help celebrate the club's centenary.
The former Sri Lanka skipper, who is also the MCC’s president, has been lined up to play for the MCC in a game against a side including a host of young Flixton players this summer.
The Scarborough & District Under-19 side, that won the Joe Lumb competition, play against the MCC every year at Flixton, and this year the visitors will feature the former Surrey star.
Folkton & Flixton CC will announce more plans to celebrate their 100th birthday in the coming weeks.
