Scarborough 2nds and Flixton both suffered defeats in their York Senior League clashes on Saturday.

In division three south, Scarborough had a day to forget with the bat in a very low scoring clash with Welton.

Scarborough looked to be in a very good position when Matty Kay finished with figures of 7-26 as Welton crumbled to just 80.

The reply didn’t get going though and Scarborough slipped to 43 all out.

Flixton lost by 58 runs in their division one encounter with Heworth.

Rich Malthouse took 4-46 and Mikey Hunter claimed 3-53 as Heworth closed on 196 all out.

Skipper Jamie Nesfield remained unbeaten on 46, but Flixton fell away to an all out score of 138.
