Flixton’s Stu Stocks leapt to the top of this season’s batting charts when he helped his team to a powerful 138-run division A victory against Hunmanby.
Stocks (131no) teamed up with Ben Elvidge (73no) to put on an unbeaten 195-run stand, which guided Flixton to a useful 226-2.
Leigh Franks was one ray of light for Hunmanby with 35, but spells of 4-19 from Chris Mann and 3-18 from Jack Walmsley brought things to a swift conclusion.
Rob Pinder also had a good day for his side Staxton in their 15-run success against Cloughton A.
Pinder kicked off with a tidy knock of 82 in a total of 156-5, which was swiftly complimented by his spell of 3-33.
Mark Dove also took 3-41, while Liam Salt top-scored with 68 for Cloughton.
Seamer’s Chris Clifford had Ganton in a spin in division B, as they won by by 35 runs.
Clifford’s 5-29 slowed Ganton to 110-8, in reply to Seamer’s 145-4, in which Joe Danby and Tom Irwin both reached the 40s.
Craig Sanderson and Stu Pickard were Sherburn’s stars in a 45-run win against Wykeham B.
Both dropped just short of their half-centuries in Sherburn’s 131-6, they then bagged three wickets each to close things off.
Andy Ryan and Carl Sample were both unbeaten in the 60s as Flixton B beat Filey B by 103 runs.
The pair took Flixton to 146-1, before Filey were bowled out for 43.
Dave Parkinson took charge for Oriel in their division D win by two runs over Scalby C.
Oriel were looking in trouble on 49 all out, but Parkinson came to the rescue with fine figures of 5-9.
