“NatWest T20 Blast cricket at Headingley in 2015 is going to be fantastic,” said commercial director Andy Dawson.

“With most of our matches on a Friday night, the installation of permanent floodlights at the ground and the recruitment of some of the best players in the world, we are expecting huge interest from sports fans across the county.

“We are looking to play a positive brand of cricket that will get the pulses racing. Friday nights at Headingley will be one of the best sporting events in the region. The whole experience will be affordable and fun with more and more families coming to watch the Vikings than ever before.”

Tickets for adults are £18 in advance, £10 seniors and only £5 for juniors (under-16) and students.

The Lancashire Lighting game is priced £25 in advance for adults.

Furthermore, all booking fees have been abolished for this season and should matches be affected by the weather, ticket-buyers will also receive a full refund after the club listened and acted on complaints from last year.

“We admit that the refund policy we had in place wasn’t fair for those people that had bought tickets in advance for matches, which were rained off,” added Dawson.

“We took on board the level of criticism we received, especially after last year’s T20 match against Lancashire.

“The new policy is fairer and gives people the comfort that if a game restricted or abandoned due to adverse weather, they will received a full refund.

“We also felt the previous policy discouraged people from buying tickets in advance. The new proposals should end those fears.”

The club also have a number of corporate packages for all matches starting from £49+VAT, which includes access to a premium viewing facility, exclusive bar and exceptional catering. Further details here.
