Wingrove ton steers Ebberston 2nds to win at Great Habton 2nds
James Wingrove’s outstanding knock of 115 helped Ebberston 2nds continue their great start to the Division B season with a five-wicket win at Great Habton 2nds.
A century stand between openers Jack Stockdale (60) and Charlie Coulson (34) gave the hosts a steady start.
The third-wicket partnership of 120 between captain Dan Walker (64 not out from 52 deliveries) and James Bulmer (51 not out in 41 balls) was much more aggressive and Habton must have been confident of victory after setting 226-2 from 40 overs.
