Jack Holt claimed the 10th wicket from the final ball of the 45th and final over to secure the win for the North Marine Road club, as the visitors were dismissed for 101 in pursuit of Scarborough’s impressive 208-2.
Josh Mainprize was the star batsman for the home side, compiling a superb unbeaten 90 for Scarborough, Joe Padmore adding an excellent 59 for the hosts.
Fine bowling from Anthony Hunter, who bagged 4-26 from 11 overs, and Matty Kay, 3-22 from 12 overs, set the win up for the home side, with Holt wrapping up the victory at the death.
Relegation battlers Bolton Percy batted first at Flixton, and made a useful 207-8, Jamie Nesfield taking 3-34 for the home side.
John White top-scored for the visitors with 43 while Tom Atkinson added 33.
Neil Elvidge struck 47 and Rich Malthouse 33 as Flixton chased victory, but fine bowling from Jacob Green, 3-34, left the hosts hanging on with 186-9 for a draw.
