Harry Walmsley sparkled with bat and ball as Flixton returned to winning ways with a two-wicket success at Selby in division one of the York Cricket League on Saturday.
Harry Walmsley and Jamie Nesfield took three wickets apiece as Flixton limited Selby to 173-8, M Hoyle hammering 81 and T Rich 46.
Young all-rounder Walmsley then responded with a cracking knock of 59, and Neil Elvidge also chipped in with 37 as the visitors edged home with two wickets to spare.
Scarborough 2nds snatched defeat from the jaws of victory in their division three south game at Rowntrees and Huntington.
Sam Carver and Jordan Welford took three wickets each as Scarborough dismissed Rowntrees for 114 and looked to be in with a strong chance of earning an away triumph.
The home attack had other ideas though as Scarborough were skittled for just 65 runs, S Beales snapping up 5-23.
