Scarborough continued their superb start to the Yorkshire Premier League North season with a comfortable seven-wicket success against Sheriff Hutton Bridge at North Marine Road.
Skipper Neil Elvidge won the toss and decided to bowl first, a decision that paid off as Linden Gray ran out opener Louis Foxton on 16 before left-arm pace bowler Kristian Wilkinson removed three of Bridge's top four, including former Staxton man Rob Pinder for a first-ball duck.
Wilkinson ended with figures of 3-18, while spinners Ben Elvidge (3-13) and Gray (2-14) helped dismiss the visitors for just 118.
Scarborough openers Alex Carrie and Aussie all-rounder Bradley Scott took the hosts to 56-1 before the overseas man departed for nine after Karl Carver trapped him lbw.
Carrie went on to make a solid 39 from 90 balls, before Ben Elvidge (28no) and dad Neil Elvidge (13no) saw the home side comfortably to 119-3 to claim 10 points in the process.
Scarborough travel to Stamford Bridge next weekend.
