Ben Elvidge became only the third bowler to reach 100 YPLN wickets in Scarborough's 21-run win against Sheriff Hutton Bridge at North Marine Road.

Half-centuries from Darren Harland (56) and Oliver Stephenson (51) followed opener James Pick’s 38 as the home side scored 224-8.

Dulash Udayanga (53) and Robert Stevens (55no) both passed 50 for the visitors but the afternoon belonged to Elvidge, who took match-winning figures of 4-46 on his way to the milestone, Bridge finishing on 203-9.

Two sides struggling for form met in the Premier Division of the York League and it was Flixton who brought to an end a four-match losing streak beating Easingwold by six wickets.

With Kyle Waite (46), Max Cosgrove (31) and James Postill (30no) all in the runs the hosts total should perhaps have been more than the 165 all out they finished on, Jamie Nesfield (3-36) and Tom Norman (3-30) both picking up three wickets.

Norman completed a memorable day by top scoring with 41, and further contributions from both Will Hutchinson (38) and Will Norman (38) helped them ease to a comfortable win with more than 15 overs to spare.

Scarborough 2nds lost by three wickets at Yapham in Division Two Ebor.

Scarborough were all out for just 101, Tom Precious hitting 44, their second top-scorer coming in the form of 16 from Tom Pratt as no other visiting batsmen made it into double figures.

Despite Sam Ullyott taking 4-14 from 12 overs in reply and David Snowball taking two wickets and Matthew Watson one, Yapham made it to 102-7 in 49.1 overs.
