Trevor Bull will step into the chairman's role following the recent passing away of Dave Holland.

He has been joined on the board by fellow life-long Scarborough FC and Scarborough Athletic fans Andy Crossland and Fred Firman.

Local businessman Bull is already working with Scarborough Borough Council and Everyone Active to ensure the smooth transition of the club from its exile in Bridlington to our new home in Scarborough. Crossland is chief executive of Humber Learning Consortium, an organisational development and bid writing specialist. He will provide additional commercial experience and support to the Board as the Operations Director.

Fred Firman works for a large port company, where he is responsible for the day to day management of the Harbour Authority on the Humber Estuary. He has an operational management background and considerable experience of balancing the demands of a broad and varied spectrum of stakeholders to bring to the board in his new role as football operations director.

The team has also been strengthened by the return of Sally Elwick to the role of club secretary. Her detailed knowledge of football related administration will be invaluable to the newly-constructed board.

Boro will be holding a supporters meeting to be held within the next month.
