Scarborough Athletic have been placed in the Evo-Stik North for the 2014-15 campaign.
Boro have been moved by the FA from the southern section of the section to play the likes of Northwich Victoria, Farsley and also Darlington.
Club chairman Dave Holland has underlined that there will be no challenge to the decision and that he hopes the fans grasp the opportunity to support their side.
He said: “There is no reason for us to appeal, we just want to take the opportunity and we hope the fans do to.
“Having seen the early indications of support and excitement, we hope that translates to an increase in gates next season.
“It is exciting to be visiting new grounds and meeting up with new teams, but once again we will have to assess their strengths and weaknesses, so it will be another period of adjustment.
“We are looking to press on as a club and we need the fans to help us do that.
“Either next year or the year after we will be looking at the Evo-Stik Premier. So it won’t be a case of glancing north or south, we will be looking upwards.”
