Scarborough Athletic have strengthened their squad with the signing of former Hull City, York City and North Ferriby United defender Nathan Peat.
The defender is set to feature for Boro in Saturday’s friendly against the Scarborough News Saturday League representative team at Silver Royd, 3pm kick-off.
Peat, 32, scored one of the spot-kicks in Ferriby’s dramatic FA Trophy penalty shoot-out victory against Wrexham in March.
In his five years at United Peat made 181 appearances and scored three goals for them.
The defender made 51 appearances for the Minstermen and scored twice after arriving from his hometown club of Hull City in July 2006.
Peat had later spells with Harrogate Town and Gainsborough Trinity, until joining North Ferriby in 2011.
