Double boost for Boro

Boro could have midfielder Elliot Harrison in their squad, as the youngster is poised to complete a loan move from Conference side Halifax Town.

While defender Dean Lisles has recovered in time to face a Northwich side who have won three of their last five games, scoring 19 goals in the process.

Boss Steve Kittrick said: "We have been looking at bringing Elliot in from Halifax to add to our squad, but at the moment we are waiting to see what is happening with it.

"Dean will be available, which is good because it will add more competition.

"We said it before the game against Bamber Bridge, but this is another chance to see how far we have come in a matter of weeks.

"It will be a test because Northwich have been thumping everyone, but if we compete with them, then we have a chance."
