Fantastic five up for North Riding FA awards

The Scarborough & District Minor League has been shortlisted for the North Riding County FA’s Grassroots League Of The Year.

Scholes Park Raiders coach David Oxley has been shortlisted for the Grassroots Coach Of The Year For Youth.

Oxley’s Scholes Park Raiders colleague Lynne Taylor has also been shortlisted for the ‘We Only Do Positive’ - Respect Award.

Olivia Hall is shortlisted for the Rising Star Of The Year award.

The Scarborough Council & Scarborough Minor League’s Smokefree Sidelines initiative has also been shortlisted for Grassroots Project Of The Year.

Winners are to be announced via the North Riding’s social media accounts on Friday.
