Fantasy League update - Jenkos Bottlers top-score with 81 while Cooke stays top

Simon Cooke stayed top of the Scarborough News Fantasy League, but it was Lee Jenkinson’s Jenkos Bottlers who top-scored last week.

Jenkinson’s side amassed 81 points as Jamie Vardy and Juan Mata netted him nine points each and Troy Deeney, Chris Smalling and Vincent Kompany all grabbed eight points.

Cooke collected 56 points to move onto 679 points at the top of the table ahead of Gary Hodgson, whose 44 point-haul took him onto 669, just ahead of Ollie Velin, who is third with 666.

This week’s top performing managers after Jenkinson were Kieran Link (74), Dan Argyle (70), Josh Clayton (70) and Gerard Moran (70).

Several high-profile managers had very poor weeks. Edghehill stalwart Alec Coulson making just nine points and Scarborough Athletic board member Geoff Osguthorpe only managing 15.

The Golden Bear stays bottom, just behind Coulson and perennial struggler Craig Rackham.
