Newlands boss Joe Hakings said: "This season has been a fantastic all-round effort by the lads who've played for us, from the young lads all the way through to players such as Lewis Weller and James Tadman who have been with us for a while every one of them has done their bit. Will Rowley has also done superbly in goal after starting off as an outfield player.

"To win the title with an unbeaten record is an excellent achievement and I think our target now is to complete the season without losing, our last two games against Ayton and Duchess will not be easy but we will be aiming to maintain our record. If you look back I think we have not lost in the league since November 2014 so we have a great record."
