Former Ebor Academy Filey student Macauley keen to impress upon Hull City return
Former Ebor Academy Filey student Tom Macauley is set to start his full time scholarship with Hull City this week.
Macauley, 16, who was with Tottenham Hotspur until he moved north before joining City, said: “I’m really looking forward to getting back to training at the Academy.
“We have been looked after really well during the lockdown with personalised training plans, online gym sessions and team meetings, but it doesn’t compare to training with the squad and coaching staff.
“Moving into the club’s accommodation and being a full time player is the next step in my progression and something I’m really looking forward to.”
