Boss Kittrick has captured former Sunderland under-21 skipper Tom McNamee, while keeper Nick Draper has joined on a month's loan from Alfreton Town.

Centre-back McNamee has spent time at Blyth Spartans in the Evo-Stik Premier since departing Sunderland in the summer, while Draper was number two at Conference side Grimsby Town last term.

Kittrick said: "Nick may still be a young lad, but he has got plenty of experience in the game, which is what we are looking for at the moment.

"I was recommended Tom by somebody I know in the north east, so he will be another good addition to the side.

"I'm hoping to have another two of three players signed up over the next couple of days."
