New boss Darren Kelly to attend Boro v Staithes cup match
New Scarborough Athletic manager Darren Kelly will be watching tonight's NRCFA Senior Cup game at home to Staithes Athletic, but Dave Merris will be in charge of the team.
Former Hyde and Oldham boss Kelly was appointed as manager yesterday afternoon in the wake of John Deacey's departure on Sunday night.
There are reduced admission prices for tonight's game against North Riding Football League outfit Staithes, with adults paying £5, concessions/OAPs £3 and Under-11s being admitted free of charge when accompanied by a paying adult.
Midfielder Chris Dawson is available for selection for the cup-tie after serving his one-match suspension, but defender Dom Roma has been recalled to his parent club Basford United.
