West Pier players, managers and officials past and present celebrated the club’s 40th anniversary at a specially arranged evening at The Spa on Saturday.
The evening was made even more special following the current side’s stunning season in which they did a clean sweep and won the quadruple.
Around 180 people attended the night in the Ocean Room, much to the delight of Pier’s current Saturday side boss: Andy Spivey.
He said: “It was a really, really good night for everyone associated with Pier.
“We had around 180 there on the night, including people who I haven’t seen for a long, long time.
“The timing was perfect with us winning the quadruple on a Saturday and Paddy Parke’s Sunday side winning the Senior Cup too.
“Huge thanks has to go to the organising committee, it was a superb night.
“Teams come and go, but the club has kept going through good and bad times.”
