Sam Collin and Gary Hepples scored two goals apiece for the hosts, with Alex Muir and Alex Wray also notching for the leaders.

Roscoes were 2-0 ahead at the break, and although Angel pulled a goal back early in the second half through Tom Sixsmith, Roscoes hammered in three more goals before the visitors struck again, the hosts adding a sixth late on, again through Sixsmith.

Roscoes boss Lee Paterson said: "It was a great team performance but Gary Hepples and Sam Collin caused them lots of trouble in defence."

This was the only weather to survive the inclement weather, as the Angel v Cayton, West Pier v Trafalgar and Valley v Newlands games in Division One, and the Fylingdales v Castle Tavern and Saints v Eastfield Athletic matches in Division Two were all postponed.
