Scarborough Athletic could call on striker Ollie Ryan to feature in Saturday’s derby clash against Bridlington Town, 11.30am.
The former Lincoln City man, who burst onto the scene at the start of the season, hasn’t played for a number of months because of a troublesome foot injury.
Boss Rudy Funk has been in constant dialogue with the frontman, who has been maintaining high levels of fitness in anticipation of a return to the Boro squad.
Funk will also welcome defender Louis Horne back into the squad, while fellow centre-back Andy milne faces a late fitness test on his thigh knock.
The Boro chief said: “Ollie has been doing a lot of fitness work and he is raring to go.
“He has been there in recent weeks in case we need to call on him, but there is a chance he might be involved against Brid.
“We will have Louis back and Andy will be checking his fitness before the kick off.
“Apart from that we are at full strength, which is great news going into this game.”
