A James Wilson strike put the villagers ahead at the interval but Max Gage equalised for Town before his brother Joe scored twice in quick succession to turn the game on its head.

A good finish from man of the match Tom Haxby and a fine shot from Aaron Howard put the seal on the win for the away side.

West Pier Reserves put a major dent in Seamer Sports Reserves' hopes of catching Filey, with the hosts storming to a 7-2 home success against the villagers.

Mikey Anderson opened the scoring for Pier with a cross-cum-shot, Rich Tolliday doubling the lead for the hosts before Anderson hammered in a fierce shot from 20 yards into the top corner.

Tolliday added another before the break, with goals from Sam Walker and Tom Adams giving Seamer hope early in the second half.

This hope was soon extinguished by Anderson's hat-trick goal, soon followed by Tolliday's own treble being completed.
