Danny Collins also impressed for the visitors, playing out of position in midfield as opposed to his usual forward role.

Cayton Corinthians eased to a 3-1 home win against fellow strugglers Sleights.

Jake Sands lobbed his side in front on 20 minutes after fine play from his brother Isaac, and only a string of fine saves from the Sleights keeper denied the hosts from extending their lead before the interval.

Luke Foster doubled Cayton's lead in the 55th minute with a fierce 18-yard strike and 20 minutes from time the win was sealed when Isaac Sands swept in a third after a one-on-one with the keeper.

Jack Raw Idle hit a last-minute consolation for Sleights.

Man of the match was shared between left-sided wing-back Mark Davison and centre-back Kieran Glave for Cayton, while Sam Leadley was the star man for Sleights.

Hunmanby United added to basement club Westover's woes with a 3-0 win at Sands Lane.

Leigh Franks opened the scoring for United from a well-flighted corner by Darren Crawford and some great dribbling from Oliver Milner saw him break through the Wasps defence and try to round the keeper, the latter stopping him but only managing to divert the ball back into Milner's path and he slotted in his side's second.

The win was confirmed after the interval when Ryan Baldry's shot was intercepted by Milner who notched his second of the game, the whole United team sharing the man of the match award for a great display.
