The home side's dominance continued after the break when Friett turned provider, feeding Friend to grab his second, before the scoring was wrapped up as Friett grabbed his second with a volley over the keeper from long range.

Plumpton said: "I'm absolutely buzzing. To get through to a cup final in our first season is a great achievement and it'll be a great game against Edgehill Reserves in the final."

Friett and Friend were the victor's star men.

It was soon 2-0 when Benny Davis played in Scales to calmly roll under the Duchess keeper and the same player rounded the scoring off at 3-0 after Lee Dennis' corner was flicked on by Davis' glanced header and Scales fired in from close range.

Edgehill's Craig Love was sent off with 25 minutes left on the clock.

A delighted Ferrey said: "I can't single anyone out, it was a great team performance from the lads.
