Newlands Park Reserves only need one point or a huge sway in goal difference to wrap up the Division Two title after a 6-0 win at Scalby.
Park moved ahead early on when stalwart Hugh Brown ghosted in at the back post to fire in a rasping volley from Drew McCoubrey's searching cross.
It was soon 2-0 when a poor Scalby corner was cleared and Jamie Gallagher ran the length of the pitch to get on the end of a low cross and tap in.
Park had to wait until the last 20 minutes to get their third as Liam Buglass smashed in the goal of the game with a scintillating strike that flew into the top corner.
It was soon 4-0 when Sam Chambers tapped into an empty net, before late goals from Buglass and McCoubrey finished the scoreline off at 6-0.
Gary Lumbis was solid at the back for Park, while McCoubrey shone up top for the league leaders.
Duchess are well-placed to challenge for promotion after a 2-1 win at home to Filey Town Reserves.
Billy Coyne's pen put Filey ahead but and own goal from Luke Midgley's pin-point cross levelled things up at the break.
JP Watson got the winner after 70 minutes to wrap up the points for Paul McBean's men.
The bottom two couldn't be separated as Ayton and Snainton drew 3-3 with all the goals coming in an action-packed first half.
Goals from Regan Hewitt and Elliott Backhouse put Andy Holt's side 2-0 up after 20 minutes before Ayton scored twice to level things up.
Hewitt's free-kick then found Damian Foster to put Snainton 3-2 up, but Ayton rallied again and equalised once again.
Neither side to find the net after the break as they took a share of the spoils.
Keith Savage was Snainton's star man.
West Pier Reserves just about held on after a late surge by Falsgrave to stay above their opponents in eighth spot.
A Rob Speight brace and a Chris Weetman goal had Pier 3-0 up with 10 minutes to go, but they had to hold on as Falgrave rallied and fired in two.
Falsgrave can still finish in the bottom two, but Ayton need to win both of their last two games to have a chance of hauling themselves out of the dropzone.
