York had a lot more possession in the first half and got their deserved equaliser right on the stroke of half-time.

The second half was more even and Danny Glendinning (Seamer) scored from the edge of the box.

Edgehill's Luke Jones finished the scoring for Scarborough with a tidy little scooped finish.

Captain Gary Thomas (West Pier) lifted the Ernie Fairclough Trophy, while Edgehill's Kurtis Henderson was awarded man of the match by the York management team.

The Scarborough Saturday League also thanked Scholar's Bar for sponsoring their new kit.

The next game for the rep side is on Tuesday night, October 10, when they take on Pickering Town, again at Mill Lane.
