Seamer Sports kept alive their hopes of pushing for the Scarborough Saturday League Division One title with a 3-0 win at Flamborough, with leaders Edgehill and Pier both being held to draws.

At Flamborough, veteran super-sub Gary Walters stole the limelight, coming off the bench to bag two second-half goals, while Gary Lawton hit the other.

Edgehill were held to a 2-2 draw in their game at Filey Town.

Filey player-boss Jordan Philliskirk put his team ahead, but Jackson Jowett's run down the left and drilled finish levelled up.

Star man Ricky Tomlinson restored Town's advantage before the interval, but Wayne Aziz popped up to snatch a share of the spoils for Edgehill.

West Pier drew 1-1 against Newlands Park, remaining four points adrift of leaders Edgehill.but with three games in hand.

Sam Garnett headed Pier ahead after a goalless first half and keeper Scott Wardman kept them in front with a smart save from Kile Fields.

Fields made no mistake the second time he was sent through on goal, poking home the equaliser.

Stand-in Park keeper Dan Freer tipped Martin Cooper's effort over the bar late on, but the Newlands defence, led by boss Joe Hakings and Matty Griffiths, held firm for the point.

Division Two runners-up Scalby powered to a 9-3 home win against Fishburn Park.

Josh Bowmaker opened the scoring for the home side after 10 minutes, but then fell 2-1 behind before goals from Ashley Townley and Rob Speight made it 3-2 at half-time.

Man of the match Chris Hannam added a fourth after the break, then Townley added another before Speight hit two more, before Hannam notched his second.

Park pulled a third goal back before Speight struck his 43rd of the season.

FC Rosette earned a 4-2 win at Ayton.

A Joe Bradshaw brace put the home side 2-1 in front, but a Dane Robinson double, along with efforts from Tommy MacDonald and Jono Frame completed the comeback for the Newby side, whose man of the match was Al Wray.

Will Jones was the star man for a below-par Ayton.

Cayton moved into third spot with a 3-0 home win against Old Vic, thanks to goals from Adam Robertshaw, Corey Towell and Ryan Jones.

Tyler Hanlon was the man of the match for Cayton.

Edgehill Reserves maintained their Reserve League title push with a 1-1 draw at home to Filey Town Reserves.

Ben Eblet put Town in front with a tap-in, but the home side levelled late on through a neat finish from Josh Wallace.

Town's man of the match award went to the whole team, who were without five regulars.
