Andy Noon’s Trafalgar Reserves side hit back after going 2-0 down to beat Hull University 6-3.
Uni led 2-0 but an opportunistic effort from Al Wray sent the sides in at half-time at 2-1.
Traf took over after the break as Jack Pinder ran in a hat-trick and Mikey Barker added a brace to put them 6-2 up.
Uni hit back late on as Traf pushed forward in search of more goals, but it was merely a consolation strike.
Noon singled out midfielder Jamie Wray as his side’s star man.
Heslerton also made it two wins from two games as they beat Scarborough Sports Barrowcliff 3-2 at home.
They also had to fight back after going a goal down, Dan Blanchard’s strike ensuring the sides were level at 1-1 at the interval.
Blanchard netted two more goals after the break to complete his hat-trick and put Dean Storry’s men 3-1 up.
They managed to hold on despite a late consolation strike from Tony Walker’s men.
Storry picked out hat-trick hero Blanchard and midfielder Mikey Clark as his side’s star men.
