Division one title chasers Newlands beat Klosters 6-0 to set up a potentially title-deciding clash against rivals Trafalgar this Sunday.

Stew Bates fired in four goals as Ben Luntley’s Newlands claimed the three points they needed to go back to the top of the division one table.

Stefan Moon and Ryan Cooper notched their other goals, while boss Luntley singled out striker Phil Dickens as their man of the match.

Newlands are one point ahead of Traf and will wrap up the title if they beat Liam Salt’s men on Sunday.

Klosters have one game left against Itis Itis and will move above Fylingdales into fourth spot if they claim three points.

West Riding hammered Newlands Reserves 11-0 to stay in the hunt for promotion from division two.

Goals from James Young and James Seymour handed James Prethero’s side a 2-0 lead at the break.

They totally dominated after the interval and four goals from the impressive Luke Jones made it 6-0.

Young then banged in two more to wrap up his hat-trick before goals from Mark Wade and Aiden McCallion put a gloss on the scoreline for the promotion chasers.

Prethero singled out Liam Buglass as their man of the match.

Carl Hepples put in a five star performance as Roscoes Bar smashed 11 past rock-bottom Scarborough Sports Spa.

Hepples smashed in five for Lee Paterson’s men, who led 4-1 at the break.

Matty Rowley, Nathan Spink, Liam Scott, Harry Harman and player-boss Paterson grabbed their other goals in a comfortable win.

Paterson was quick to sing the praises of five-goal hero Hepples, Scott and Harman.
